Code red at the Chron
Announced mass layoffs in the coming days or they put the Chronnie up for sale or close shop. Yowza mommas. Anyone connected in the, uh, employment world?
Yeah..code red.. profits for Hearst at The Chron and The Gate have dwindled to a measly $40mil a year. Down some $70mil a year when newspapers ruled the world. My heart bleeds. Poor Patty. How WILL she afford those still-sltylish berets? Perhaps by squeezing yet more blood from the sales people who spin them their gold? RUMPELSTILTSKIN RUMPELSTILTSKIN RUMPELSTILTSKIN! And poof, new yachts for The Board and new gutters for their serfs.
